While earning his doctorate, Dr. Patterson pursued functional neurology and clinical neuroscience with specialty recognition in vestibular rehabilitation and traumatic brain injury. Hailing from New York and Pennsylvania, he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. His scientific pursuits led him to the field of transgenic technology and tissue culture medium development with EMD Millipore and Merck KGaA. Dr. Patterson went on to earn his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Patterson has had the privilege of assisting Dr. Frederick Carrick during his grand rounds at Life University and other facilities in Atlanta, Georgia. He became board certified by the ACNB in 2014 and earned his fellowship to the American Board of Brain Injury Rehabilitation in 2015. Dr. Patterson was seeing patients in the U.S. and internationally before settling back in Atlanta with Plasticity Centers.

Dr. Patterson has served as an examiner for the American Chiropractic Neurology Board as well as an examiner and Angoff panel member for the American Board of Brain Injury Rehabilitation.
